The West Indies is a large group of islands that separate the Caribbean Sea from the Atlantic Ocean. It's comprised of three main island groups: the Bahamas (north), Greater Antilles (central) and the Lesser Antilles (southeast). Simon Wiess engaged in trade between New England and the West Indies and visited the Albion Lodge at Barbados, West Indies, and received the degree of Past Master. Barbados is on the Southeast extreme of the West Indies.
