Constantinople, that ancient city originally called Byzantium and now known as Istanbul, sits at the division of Europe and Asia, on the Northern border of Turkey, which was once known as Asia Minor. It is a port on the Sea of Marmara with the Aegean Sea on its West and the Black Sea to its North.
Simon Wiess was listed as a Royal Arch Mason at Constantinople during his visit there on April 2, 1825.
