The Jews of Neuern

Simon Wiess is descended genetically from the SNP Q-BZ3985.  It currently has five known descendant lines in our Project, many from the Chech Republic town of Neuern.  The surnames from the BigY test kits descended from Q-BZ3985 are:

• Adams
• Bloch
• Block
• Csapucha
• Lane  (EKA – Lefkowitz)
• Litov
• Singer

Simon Wiess may be descended from one of the Neuern families and may be related to the Bloch/Block family who lived in the city of Neuern in the Czech Republic.
