Capt. John Glass Killed.

Hempstead, Oct. 26, 1872.
Capt. John Glass was shot and killed in the street to-day by Milton Quarles (sic - Qualls). Five bullets was fired from a repeater into him. This is the termination of the shooting between the same parties which occurred at Brenham one week ago. Serious family troubles was the cause.
