Sarah Stephens, wife of Josiah Stephens, of Little Stephens Creek, Edgefield, gave property to son, Robert Bryant, son, William Bryant, son-in-law William Dean, daughter Nancy, grandson Frederick Williams, granddaughter, Sarah Thomas. One Frederick Williams, died in 1808, in Edgefield. His wife was Nancy. A son, Frederick and a daughter, Sarah were among the survivors.
The Frederick Williams who died in 1808 was not the one who married Amy Youngblood, for on May 6, 1822, Amy's husband, Frederick Williams, receipted for her share of her fathers' estate. He probably was the father of Frederick, the husband of Amy.
IX. William R. Youngblood, youngest son of Thomas and Amy, was born in Edgefield, Nov. 17, 1786, and died in Pike Co, Ala, Nov. 10, 1858. He married in South Carolina, Mary Dorn, who died in Bullock Co. Ala. June 21, 1877, Bullock having been created partly from Pike about ten years previously. Both are buried in Macedonia Cemetery, near Union Springs, Mascott and Inverness.
The tomb-stones marking their resting places are unique, and the most beautiful in the cemetery. Each grave is enclosed with a handsome iron fence, with a separate iron gate leading into each grave lot. On the top of his marble monument, clasped hands are carved.
They had no children, but at the time of her death, a relative, Wyatt Bonner, was living with her and shared in her estate.
Mary Youngblood was the sister of Abner Dorn, who also moved his family from Edgefield to Alabama and who died in what is now Bullock County.
William R. Youngblood's will was witnessed by Wyatt A. Bonner, J. W. Hubbard and John McCreless. In the widow's petition to the Pike County Court, she stated that she was the sole legatee. At the same time she listed his next of kin; - "Thomas Youngblood, Sr. Marshall J. Bean, Thomas S. Youngblood, David Youngblood, John S. Youngblood, ______________ of James Youngblood, Mastern E. Berry and wife, William McLendon and wife, who reside in Pike Co. Ala, ________ Williams, who resides in Dale Co. Ala, Albert Williams, residence unknown, William Williams, who resides in Randolph Co. Ala. John Dozier and wife who reside in Macon Co. Ala. the heirs of David Williams, who reside in Macon Co. Ala., the heirs of David and James Youngblood, names and residence unknown, James and William Youngblodd who reside in Mississippi, Elizabeth Quattlebaum, who resides in So. Car.
