c. Johns Green Adams, born in Miss, in 1882, died 1933. No heirs.

d. Francis D. B. Adams, born in Miss, in 1884, Deceased. No heirs.

B. Amy, second child of Thomas and Jane (Head) Youngblood, was born in Edgefield, S. C. April 6, 1811 and "departed this life at one o'clock A. M. June 14, 1855," according to her father's Bible. These dates are also on her tombstone. She was married, in Edgefield, to William Tryon Hubbard, who was born in Mass. Aug. 25, 1799, and died 2/16/1874, in Pike Co. Ala. Both are buried in the old Youngblood Graveyard, now called the Hubbard Varner Cemetery, a few miles from Union Springs, near Mascotte.

William Tryon Hubbard was one of the most highly educated men of his era. He became a teacher in the Youngblood community in Edgefield, and Amy was one of his pupils, being about twelve years younger than he. He and Amy, moved to Alabama with the Youngblood family and he became a very prominent man in the early days of Pike Co. and represented the county in the State Legislature, in 1847. Six children.

1. Thomas Franklin Hubbard, born Edgefield, 4/5/1829, married Mary Foreman. He died in 1900 and Mary died in 1887. Both are buried in the Hubbard-Varner Cemetery. Five children.

a. William Frank Hubbard, m. 1st Maude Dawson, b. 7/26/1870, d. 12/24/1900. Six children.

i. Dawson, married John Stewart. No children.

ii. William Frank, Jr. Married Elizabeth George. No. children,

iii. Jimmie, married Clifford Ritch. No children.

iv. Reyna married Thomas Sims. Children; Thomas, James, Ellen, Estelle, Woodrow, Harold, Hickman and Sara Jean.

v. Hugh.

vi. Maud, married Minnie Ward. Children. John Marvin and Mary Etta, twins; Mabie; Morine; Margaret Ann and Harold Miller.

William Frank Hubbard, married 2nd, Ada Broxton, daughter of Bird and Sula Broxton. Four children,

i. Dora married T. C. Thrash.

ii. Sarah, b. 3/25/1906, m. 12/14/1921, Will F. Ritch. Four children. The sons, Guy, Robert and Rufus, all served in the Armed Forces,

iii. Hayes married Sadie Smoke. No children.

iv. Walter married Nell Hall.
