A DOUBLE MURDER
—
Will Ford Shoots Gus Alexander and Is in Turn Shot.
Brookshire, Texas, March 25. — Will Ford was shot by a negro tenant on the Mayblum place. Full particulars of the killng are not obtainable. Sheriff Liscomb, (sic) with a posse and dogs, is in hot pursuit of the murderer.
Ford's remains were brought into town about 3:30 a. m. The negro Ed Justus was captured in Fulshear and is in the hands of the officers. Gus Alexander was killed by Ford before he was shot by Justus. Particulars are meager as to the cause of the trouble, but sufficient facts have been gleaned to satisfy the public that Ford had no trouble with the negro who killed him.
