HEMPSTEAD, December 12. — The celebrated murder case against Jack McDade and Dick Springfield will be called in the criminal court to-morrow.  The men are charged with the murder of Steve Allchin on the streets of Hempstad several months ago.  About one hundred attached witnesses were brought down from Hempstead this afternoon.

Information has been received here that the recent rains have washed away the temporary bridge across the Brazos River just erected by the Aransas Pass railway.  It will delay considerably the completion of the road from that point to this city.
