More Killing at Hempstead.
— Hempstead has again been the scene of another killing. On Wednesday night, about 1 or 2 o'clock, a difficulty occurred in a saloon between ex-county attorney Richard Booth and Richard Springfield, deputy sheriff of Waller county, in which Booth was shot and killed by Springfield. It is said there were six shots fired. Springfield escaped. No other particulars could be learned.
It is also reported that David Greer was killed by a man named Wade, in the lower edge of Waller county.
