HEMPSTEAD.
[Special to the Banner.]
Hempstead, Nov. 6. — Lynch, whose family was murdered in Waller county, about 8 miles from Hockley, to-day shot Binford. Lynch's friends are leaving for that locality.
McDade is elected sheriff; Blessingame (sic), treasurer; Hannah, attorney; Tompkins, county judge; Freeman and Davis for the legislature. Mills is way ahead. The vote for supreme judges is small. On the State tickets the vote is about even.
