NEW FERRY.
—
I HAVE established a new ferry across the Brazos, just above the old "Patrick's Ferry," and which is the most direct route between Bellville, Buckhorn, and Hempstead, being three miles shorter than by either of the other routes, it being only five miles from Buckhorn to Hempstead by this route. The banks are very low, and dry at all seasons. The boat is new, and eighty feet long, and will pass wagons without double-teaming. An accommodating ferryman is constantly in attendance, and will pass persons at all hours of the day and night.
