2011 Cloud Family Gathering — DNA Project Report

The only mutation that appears to make sense is the "A" mutation,
which would have Jeremiah's line fitting in along the lines of kit 43861, 98585
or the line of Oscar where the two brothers and nephew have tested.
The "M" for kit 43203 appears recent as none of the other brothers have it.
The "P" & "T" mutations appear to be recent in Jeremiah's line.
The Jeremiah at the head of this group is Jeremiah Cloud, RS who married Sarah Wellborn.
He died in Wilkes cty, GA in 1783. His family is shown in the next slide.
One of his sons, also named Jeremiah, married Elizabeth Jones and is alleged
to have also died in Wilkes cty in 1783. (This needs to be researched and verified.)

If our Jeremiah is the child of this family, he would have been born after his father's death
and his mother may have also died. Perhaps he travelled to live with one of his siblings or an
aunt or uncle in South Carolina, explaining the comment in the Youngblood-Armstrong book.
