  Notes	He came to America in 1705 with his father, brothers and sisters.  His father deeded him land 10 Sep 1729, 177 acres, in East Marlborough.  He was execrs. of his father's will.  Colon. & Rev. Fam. of Pa. The birthdate of Joseph as being 1698 with a daughter Elizabeth born 1694 is wrong. Perhaps Joseph was born about 1678 and his father about 1658. A listing by Ellie Burch shows Elizabeth Hayes as being Joseph Hayes sister, which might make sense date wise. Possibly some of the older children listed with Joseph are actually his siblings.
