B. Nancy Elizabeth McDade, born in December 1828, married her first cousin, James Wilkins McDade. (See Charles and Adeline McDade line.)
C. James McDade, Jr. Line not traced. He was not mentioned in the administrator's petition in 1871, nor in the final settlement of his father's estate.
D. Richard Montgomery Wilkins McDade, youngest son of James and Sarah McDade, was born Mt. Meigs, 11/21/1830, d. 1/5/1897, Orion Ala. buried in Baptist Church Cemetery. He married 11/20/1851, Mary Jane Townsend, b. Montgy Co. 2/2/1834, d. 8/15/1883, daughter of Albert W. Townsend, b. 10/8/1811, d. 4/25/1893, and Mary (Polly) McNeill, b. Cumberland Co. N. C. 6/22/1812, d. 10/28/1894; and, the grand-daughter of A. C. and Elizabeth Ann (Barnett) Townsend, who married 1/6/1809; and the grand daughter of James and Jane (Smilie) McNeill. R. M. W. McDade joined the Pine Level Masonic Lodge #202, Oct. 16, 1858.
Mary Jane Townsend is said to have been a niece of Martha Townsend who married Richard's older hatt brother William, and also a niece of Ava Rilla Townsend who married his first cousin, John A. McDade. Further research is necessary to establish the accuracy of this statement.
Nine children;
1. Mary Isabel McDade, b. 11/25/1852, d. 12/25/1901, married John F. Raughton, her deceased sister's husband. No children.
2. Sarah Jane McDade, b. abt 1855, d. after 1880, m. Dec. 1877, John F. Raughton. Two children; Alma, M. b. 10/28/1878, and Minnie Lee, b. 8/4/1880. Both reside, Everett, Mass. Unmarried.
3. Albert James McDade, b. abt. 1857, married Alice A. Chesson, b. 2/19/1859, d. Dec. 1886, buried Cubahatchie Baptist Cemetery. Several children. He later moved to Texas.
4. Thomas Judge McDade, b. abt. 1859, married Mrs. Catherine Miller, (or Mitchell). Six children.
a. Marcus De Lafayette McDade, b. 1/19/1885, d. 11/4/1958, married Johnnie Evelyn Booth. Children. Marguerite, married G. S. Willette, and Hazel, married W. F. Mayer.
b. Thomas Calhoun McDade, b. 7/29/1888, d. 4/11/1950, m. 10/25/1909, Olive Estelle Dancy. Two children;
b-1. Meda Monette, b. 7/7/1912, m. July 1933, Hubert Delacy Carver. Children, - Elaine, dec'd; Hubert D. Jr; Jas. Alexander; Mary Estelle; Meda Mae.
