Margaret (Weir) Houston, furnished supplies to the Revolutionary Army. Descendants have established their D A R membership on her record.
George Weir Houston, died in Harris Co. Ga. March 1886. He and Amy had one child.

a. Elizabeth Weir Houston, b. 1867, d. 1902, married Jere Traylor. One child.
i. Martha Elizabeth Traylor, b. 8/12/1902, m. 7/17/1925. Thomas Pickens Gates, b. 8/25/1901, Madison Co. Ala. Children, Martha Byrd, b. 9/6/1927 and Frances Evelyn, b. 3/31/1929, m. Robert Taylor Moore, Jr. b/3/27/1929. One adopted daughter, Evelyn Elizabeth.
b. Walter Reuben Houston, deceased, married Sallie Adair, deceased. Children.

c. Annie Byrd Houston, died young.
d. Martha Lou Houston, Historian and Compiler. She was on the staff of the Registrar General, Daughters of the American Revolution, as a genealogist from 1930 to 1947. Residence, Huntsville, Ala.
e. Edwin Houston, born June 1874, Lee, Co. Ala. died Aug. 1905, married - 1900 - Nettie Baker, West Point Ga. Two children.
i. Charles Edwin, married Vera Cravey. One adopted daughter,
ii. Elizabeth, married George Bradshaw. Reside Orlando, Fla. Three children, George, Barbara and Beverly.
