1. James Madison Johnson, b. 1815, married Elizabeth Tompkins.

2. Mark Johnson, married Nancy Harling, about 1839. Twelve children.

g. Ellen Johnson, died young.

h. Mark McDuffey Johnson died young.

i. Phoebe Ann Eliza Johnson married William David McClure.

j. Emma Adeline Johnson married William S. McDowell.

k. William Lee Johnson married Tranny Outz. (Utz)

1. Daniel Branson Johnson married Mary Jane Outz, sister to Tranny.

3. Durania Johnson married a Green.

4. Adeline Johnson married Jacob Green, brother to the above.

5. Abner Johnson.

6. Richard Johnson. Died in Confederate service.

7. Mary Johnson married a Durham.

8. Sarah Johnson married Miles Busbee.

9. Sinah Johnson, twin to Sarah, married Columbus Medlock.

10. William Johnson, died in S. C. Later his family moved to Augusta, Ga.

11. Martha Johnson, b. 1839, married William Washington Burnett.
