Constable Goff of this precinct has in his possession a horse supposed to have been rode here and turned loose by Driscoll, the man who committed a murder recently near Hockley, in Waller county. A close watch is being kept for him, as it is believed he is in hiding somewhere in this community. The horse is branded U V on left thigh, is a sorrel with star in the face, and hind feet white.
