A Shooting Affray — The Wounded Brakeman Dead.

HEMPSTEAD, Tex., May 19. — Stephen W. Allichin (sic) was shot and instantly killed this morning about 11 o'clock by Jack McDade and Dick Springfield.  Allichin (sic) had rode up in front of Harmon's store, and was sitting on his horse.  The shooting party came round back of the store and shot him, it is said, without warning.  They used a shot gun and six shooter.  He will be buried Sunday evening at 4 o'clock by Lincoln Lodge No. 35, Ancient Order of United Workmen, of which he was a member.
