You will, doubtless, soon have upon your exchange list another good paper from this point of the compass, as on is to appear shortly under a fine caption, and published by Messrs. Newman & Farr, formerly proprietors of the Hempstead Messenger.  The former is one among the best printers, and the latter one of the best financiers in the State, and we predict for them a large patronage from the people generally.  Like the NEWS, they never hesitated about soliciting and encouraging an extensive correspondence from whatsoever direction; thereby insuring an interest in and notice of their paper which a different course would never command.

"Messrs. Newnam & Farr." The Galveston Daily News, May 23, 1874, p. 2, col. 2.
