    Sir:  The undersigned is an applicant for Pension under "An Act entitled An Act granting pensions to the surviving veterans of the Revolution which separated Texas from Mexico," approved August 13, 1870.

  Personally appeared before the undersigned authority Morad W. Bumstead
the above applicant for Pension, who after being by me duly sworn, on his Oath
says: that he was a Soldier in the army of Texas from about 15th day of November A.D.
1835, to about 13th day of December A.D. 1835, in Captain H. Millards, A. J. ?...? & Jas. Chessher Company and Genl. S.F. Austin & Burleson's command Regiment, and that he was wounded The applicant was in companies commanded by said captains successively & commands of said Austin & Burleson successively at the Fall of Bexar, and received a donation of ??? for
such service.

  Personally appeared before the undersigned authority James Chessher
and Wm McFaddin         credible citizens of said State to me well
known, who after being by me duly sworn on their Oaths say: that they know of their own knowledge, that the said Morad W. Bumstead    was a Soldier in the army of Texas in the year 1835; that he is about 59 years old, and a resident of Hardin County, in said State; that he was wounded and that they believe him to be justly entitled to a Pension for services and wounds, under the "Act granting Pensions" etc. approved August 13, 1870.

thority Hannibal Good a creditable citizen of same
State to me well known, who after being by me duly Sworn, on his Oath says that he knows of his own knowledge that the same Morad W. Bumstead was a Soldier in the army of Texas in the year 1835 that he is about 57 years old and a resident of Hardin County in said State and that he believes Col.
