Bumstead Cemetery, Fletcher, Hardin County, Texas

For the Descendants of Mourad Bumstead & Jane Cravey.

The Bumstead Cemetery in Fletcher (now Lumberton), Texas is on part of the land given to Mourad Whitfield Bumstead for his service to the Republic of Texas at the Siege of Bexar, December, 1835, and it is reserved for the descendants of Mourad and his wife Jane Cravey.
It is located East of US-96 on Walton Road across from Fletcher Emanuel Alive Baptist Church. (A second Bumstead Cemetery is 31 miles NNE near the town of Warren, Texas.)
