    Notes 
    • Nancy was the second wife of Joseph Cloud.  She does not appear in the record until 5th September, 1842, when she petitioned the Roane County, TN Court to appoint William Jolly, Isaac Walker and Alexander Deatherage as Commissioners to lay off one year's support to Nancy and her family out of the personal assets of Joseph Cloud, her late husband deceased.  After Joseph's death, Nancy lived with her step-daughter, Martha (Cloud) Clower, for at least the next twenty five years.
