    • He was disowned by the Chester Monthly meeting in 1764 for breach of discipline. This info was taken from a section of a book tilted "A History of the  Carter Family" and was sent to me my the Cecil Cty. Historical Society. It includes the five Carter families in America in the 17th century.  The were probably all related and came from the large Carter family north of London. A family crest has a cartwheel and talbot and was first recorded in London in 1612 and in America in 1635 by a Rev. Thomas CARTER of Watertown Mass.
Agnes is listed as the forth child of Abraham CARTER but no dates of birth or death or children. She was married twice 1st to Thomas BARNARD then to John EVANS.
