In the Name of God Amen -
I Sarah J. Wells Wife of C.H. Wells being of the age of 23 years and of sound and disposing mind. do make publish and declare this as my last will and testament. First: It is my will that all my just debts be fully paid.
Second: It is my desire that a suitable monument be erected to my grave not to cost more than fifty dollars. Third: It is my will that after all my just debts funeral expenses and the cost of the monument aforesaid shall have been fully paid, then the remainder of my property of whatsoever kind or nature, shall vest in my father in law, F.A. Wells as trustee for the following purposes that is to say, that after having given bond as shall be prescribed by the county court of the county where he may reside, he shall receive my said property and convert the same into money and load the same out on good real or personal security at an annual rate of interest and after paying the expenses of loaning and collecting such interest, he shall from time to time as he may deem best, pay over to my husband such sum or sums for his use and benefit of such interest, tobether with a portion of the principal, but that such payments for the benefit of my said husband shall in no instance exceed the sum of two hundred dollars in any one year, such payments to continue until all of said tust fund shall have been exhausted.
