    • Obituary:
      Philip B. Cloud, of Torrance, passed away December 26 after a long battle with cancer.  Mr. Cloud was born in Bainbridge, Georgia in 1922.  He served as a flight engineer in the Army Air Corps during World War II.  Upon his return, he enrolled at Georgia Tech and became an engineer.  He spent his career working on airplanes for Rockwell International, particularly the B-1 bomber.  He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Cloud; two sisters Jo Ann Newberry of Bainbridge, GA and Margaret Holliman of Atlanta, GA; a stepdaughter, Donna McBurney of Pasco, WA; a daughter, Patricia Cloud Davis of Arcadia; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.  His memorial service will be Friday, January 9 at 11:00 AM at Green Hills Mortuary in Rancho Palos Verdes.
