- Obituary:
BARBARA ANN CLOUD MARBRY, 70, formerly of Memphis, peacefully departed this earth into eternity with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ surrounded by friends and family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her spouse of 35 years, Bobby Larry Marbry, retired Shelby County Sheriff; children, Lurae Holmes of Byhalia, MS, Robin David of Roswell, GA, Patrick Brooks of Millington, TN, David Brooks of Alpharetta, GA, Lauretta Merideth of West Memphis, AR, Larry Brooks of Panama City, FL; mother, Lauretta Cloud of Berlin, MD; siblings, James L. Cloud of Ocean City, MD, John Cloud of Stephens, VA, Allen Cloud of Sterling Park, VA, Mary Cloud of Ft. Washington, MD; 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, James L. Cloud.
During Barbara's years in Memphis, she was an active member of Highland Heights Baptist Church, Broadmoor Baptist Church and Whitten Memorial Baptist Church and also volunteered with the auxiliary of the Shelby County Sheriff's Department.
