Annie Maude Boswell Cloud
PERRY-Annie Maude Boswell Cloud, 91, passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 20,2010. Funeral services will be held at 2 P.M. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Perry with interment in Perry Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at the church prior to the service. The Family suggest contributions to the first Baptist Church of Perry or The Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road, Greenville, South Carolina 29605.
Mrs. Cloud was a lifelong resident of Perry and was the daughter of the late Charles A. and Lola Cole Boswell Sr. Active in the church all of her life, she was a Sunday School Teacher, Bible School and Sunbeams Teacher and a member of the Jewell Teresi Sunday School Class.
She was a past Worthy Matron of the Houston County Chapter #383 of the Order of the Eastern Star and a member of the Daughters of the Nile.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 67 years, M.M.Cloud; Melton Cloud of Warner Robins, Marion Cloud of Perry, Meredith Ellis of Vienna, and Michael Cloud of Worland, Wyoming: Charlene Wright of Pinehurst. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Boswell and C.A. Boswell.
