IN MEMORY OF MR. CLENT CLOUD
The Death Angel visited the home of Mr. Joe Cloud (ed. his nephew, Joseph Mansico Cloud) last Wednesday, December 10, and bore from them their precious Uncle. He had been in ill health for several years, but never complained of his condition but was patient with all his pain and misery to the last. It was so hard for them to have to stand by his bedside expecting every moment to be the last for this previous one to called away to better home on high. Oh it was so hard to give him up ut God knew best. He knoweth and doeth all things for the best. He is out of his suffering and gone to rest in that beautiful land where there will be no more pain or sorrow there. He is missed in his home so bad, no matter where they go or look they miss him every where.
He was 81 years of age, and was a kind an loving Uncle. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to his family and the people of his community. He leaves to mourn their loss a host of nieces and nephews and also a host of friends.
Following an impressive funeral service conducted by Rev. J. F. Borbee he was laid to rest in Cloud Cemetery Thursday p.m. Weep not nieces and nephews for Uncle is at rest.
A previous one from them is gone,
A voice they loved is still,
A place is vacant in their home,
Which never can be filled.
