- Researcher Max Davis wrote (7-28-2008) -- "Census Records:
1850 -Elias is show as E Jones & Elizabeth
1860 -Elias is show in another household (Swain) working as a carpenter.
Note: I believe Elizabeth had died; the family had spilt up. Then in 1861 Elias joined the 1st Georgia Reg and Civil War. (just found these records yesterday)
1870 ? I have not found a Census for Elias. He and Barbara maybe in Texas.
1880 ?Elias Jones & Sarah Griffin"
