Lucy F., daughter of Isaac and Elizabeth Duckwall James, was born July 26, 1874 in Wells Co. and died February 25, 1940, age 65.
She married on February 8, 1893 to Ethan J. Cloud. To this union 8 children were born. Surviving children are Mrs. Nora Riggs, Cary Cloud of Chicago, Ill., Mrs. Josie Hullinger, Miss Dolly Cloud at home, James Cloud of Huntington Co. The following children are dead, Corey, Dora and Joseph. Her husband departed November 19, 1918. Five brothers mourn the loss, A.B. James, Alpheus James, Alva James, John and Frank James. Funeral services were at Church of Christ of Van Buren and burial at Red Man's cemetery at Warren.
