    • Obituary:
      Miriam Cloud Murray, 101, former resident of Clarksville, died Saturday, July 5, 2003, at Hospice House in Hutchinson, Kan.
      She was a native of Sturgis, S.D., daughter of the late Rev. Charles A. and Lorena A. Adams Cloud, widow of Roy H. Murray, graduate of Southwestern College, member of Pi Kappa Delta, deaconess with Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church for six years at Atchison, Kan., and Cleveland, Ohio, charter member and past president of the United Methodist Women, active as a Stephen Minister at Trinity United Methodist Church, and member of United Methodist Women and Together Sunday School Class at Trinity Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by a sister, Rachel Pond.
      She is survived by two sons, Mark F. of Glendale, Calif., and Gordon R. of Abington, Pa.; one brother, Robert W. Cloud of Florida; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
      The body was cremated. Johnson and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory were in charge of the arrangements.
      A private family service will be held at a later date.
