- Thamer (or Tamer) Davies was prob. born in what is now Loudoun Co., VA just before her parents moved to Orange Co. (now Chatham), NC. She was married to Thomas Cox of old Craven Co, SC and on 6 July 1771 was given a certificate Bush River MM, SC. Between 1803 and 1807 SC Freinds began to move to Ohio to escape the practice of slavery. Most of the members of Cane Creek MM, SC, moved to Clinton Co, Ohio land established Caesar's Creek MM taking their record with them. Records show Thamer and Thomas returned to NC in 1783 along with Ann Frazier, but in 1787 returned to SC. Ann Frazier born 25 June 1775 was apprently in Thomas and Thamer's care and was perhaps the dau. of Isaac and Mary Pearson Frazier. Mary may have died in childbirth. Ann married Levi Cook in 1798 in SC.
