Obituary:
Mrs. Sarah E. Cole passed away in St. Louis Saturday, May 20, 1933, at 5:00 a.m., aged 75 years, 8 months and 10 days. The body was brought to the Neidert Funeral Home in Farmington for preparation, and funeral services were held in the Chapel Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, conducted by Rev. F. Q. Crockett, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Farmington. Interment was in the K. of P. cemetery at Farmington.
Sarah E. Cloud was born near Farmington, Mo., September 10, 1857, the daughter of George W. and Mary Taylor Cloud. On December 30, 1875, she was united in marriage to Alexander Rariden, who preceded her in death. They were the parents of three children, who survive, Mrs. Viola Jarrells of St. Louis; Leeman Rariden of San Bernardino, Calif.; and Warner Rairden of Farmington.
On October 24, 1894, she was married to Irvin Cole, now deceased. Two children were born to this union, one dying in infancy, and a son, Cloud Cole, of St. Louis, who survives. She also leaves three brothers and two sisters, W. A. Cloud of St. Louis; G. W. Cloud of San Francisco, Calif.; M. E. Cloud of Bonne Terre; Mrs. Emma V. Hough and Mrs. Maggie Sebastian of Farmington; also seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She united with the Three Rivers Baptist church early in life, living a long and devoted Christian life.
