Sarah Cloud
Sarah ?Sally? CLOUD, 93, died Friday at 10:50 p.m. at her home in Macy after only a three-hour illness.
She was born Sept. 30, 1865, near Inwood, Ind., the daughter of Micajah and Nancy
BLACKBURN FREELAND. She was married in 1881 at Marshall county to John L. CLOUD,
who died in 1922. Mrs. Cloud had resided in the Macy community since 1881 and was the last surviving charter member of the Macy Order of Eastern Star, organized in 1892. She had assisted in managing the Cloud general store at Macy for over 50 years.
She was a member of the Macy Methodist church.
Surviving are three grandchildren, Paul CLOUD, Bourgon; Richard CLOUD, Edwardsburg, Mich., and Mrs. Henry (Virginia) IRWIN, Columbus; one great-granddaughter and one nephew. Two sons, Otto and Ben [CLOUD], preceded her in death.
Funeral rites will be Monday at 2 p.m. in the Macy Methodist church with the Rev.
Richard SUMNER officiating. Burial will be in the Plainview cemetery at Macy. Friends may call at the Ditmire funeral home in Fulton after 6 p.m. today and at the church from Monday noon until the hour of the service. The O.E.S. will conduct services Sunday at 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
