- Obituary:
Jeff Will Andress, 79, of Liberty passed away Friday, September 10, 2004 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont after an extended illness. He was born April 8, 1925 in Shelbyville, Texas to parents, Dennis Ervin and Vega Sally Andress. He served in the United States Marine Corp. during World War II and worked through the years as an oil field worker. He had been a long time resident of Devers and Liberty Co. Service for Mr. Andress will be 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 13, 2004 at Pace-Stancil Funeral Home Chapel in Dayton with Rev. Jay Barnes officiating. Interment will follow at Whittington Cemetery in Devers. Mr. Andress was preceded in death by his parents and is survived by four brothers: Garth Andress and wife Jackie of Devers; David Andress of Dayton; Robert Andress and wife Loretta of Livingston; Dennis Andress and wife Peggy of Two Rivers, Wisconsin; four sisters: Doris Fielder of Berwick, Louisiana; Bobbie Sullivan of Natchitoches, Louisiana; Martha Sylvest of Sulphur, Louisiana; and Ann Braden and husband Barrie of Magnolia, Texas. Pallbearers are Garth Andress, David Andress, Robert Andress, Randy Andress, Britt Andress, and Duncan Fiedler, Jr. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2004, 8:00 a.m. until service time.
