      Known all men by these present that I, Burrel Whittington, for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and seven dollars to me in hand paid by Jesse Standley, the receipt whereof, I do hereby acknowledge, have bargained, sold, and delivered, and by these present do bargain, sell, and deliver unto the said Jesse Standley All that tract or parcel of land containing two hundred and fifty acres, situated, lying and being in the County of Tattnall, having such shape, form and marks as appears by a plat of the same. To have and to hold the aforesaid bargained premises unto the said Jesse Standley, his heirs, executors, administrators and assigns forever. And I, the said Burrel Whittington, for myself, my executors, and administrators, shall and will warrant and defend the same against all persons, unto the said Jesse Standley, his executors, administrators and assigns, by these present.
      In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 14th February, 1827, in presence of

      Before me H. Strickland personally appeared before me Thomas Southwell who saith on his oath that he saw Burrell Whittington sign, seal and deliver the within deed to Jesse Standley for the purpose therein mentioned, and he DEPONENT subscribed the same as witness and saw John Delbos do so likewise. Sworn to and subscribed before me this 8th day of September 1827.
