    Notes 
    • Some say Laura "Lottie" Brown married John Samuel Hart (b. 1875 Nolanville, TX), but this is not the same person -- see 1900 census below.  It is confusing, since both Laura (unmarried) and Lottie (married 3 years with 2 children) are born in the same month and year and place and their parents are born in the same states.  They are also living near each other at the time of the 1900 census.  (She is not a sister to Laura either, since Irene Cloud Brown says she only has 5 children living, and they are all living with the family at home.)
