    • He came to America in 1705 with his father, brothers and sisters.  His father deeded him 100 acres on 10 Sep 1729 (they were all of Marlborough, Pa.).  William and wife moved near Wilmington, Pa in 1764. Jane died soon after and he returned the following year. Memoirs of Chester/Del Co, PA.
          On10 Sep 1725 he and Jane of Marlborough declared intentions, p 91. On 11 Oct 1725 William and Jane did not appear for 2nd announcement and 8 Nov 1725/6 William reported reason they did not appear "was ye young woman's not being well".. appeared 2nd time .. also paper from his father consenting to said marriage, p 92.  On 12 Dec 1725/6 Marriage of William and Jane accomplished orderly, p. 93.  All from "An Abstract of the Minutes & Records of New Garden Monthly Meeting, Chester Co, Pa 1718-1768".  "Abstracts of minutes of New Garden Mthly Mtgs, Chester Co, Pa" pg93, 12 Dec Dec 1725/6 has Marriage accomplished orderly.
