Nancy Lakey, child of Joel Lakey, was born in North Carolina on October 10, 1816. She died in Texas on May 5, 1893. She married Captain Miller Frances who was born in Missouri on August 19, 1810. He died in Texas on March 21, 1882.
Their daughter Lydia Ann Frances, was born on September 6, 1846 at Buckhorn, Austin County, Texas and died February 28, 1944 in Somerville, Texas. She was married on July 24, 1866 to Dr. William Tottenham. He was born May 10, 1836 and died January 26, 1917 in Branham, Texas (Doris L. Spahn)
Her family came to Texas in 1823.
