- Robert Lewis and his wife, Julia Johnson owned a saloon in Bartlesville named the Uno Joint. Indian Territory was to become the state of Oklahoma at midnight of November 16, 1907, at which time the commissions of two U.S. Marshals, George Williams and Fred Keeler, would expire. Robert set out to kill them and he himself was killed by Marshal Fred Keeler, just hours before Oklahoma became a state.
