Ralph E. Kalusche Sr.
Ralph E. Kalusche, Sr., 79, of Wichita Falls, joined his wife in Heaven Sunday, January 06, 2008. Services will be 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 9, 2008, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Hoa Nguyen officiating. Interment will follow at Crestview Memorial Park under the direction of Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
Mr. Kalusche was born October 8, 1928, in McComb, Mississippi, to William John and Nina Whittington Kalusche. He graduated from McComb High School in 1947 and earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Mississippi Southern College in 1952, where he was a member of Delta Sigma Pi. He served our country in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War, then in the Army Reserve until 1960. He served in the Civil Service as a master instructor for Avionic Electronics for thirty years, retiring in 1984. He married the love of his life, Patricia Hawkins, on May 19, 1956. They had four children. He was a Catholic and a member of American Legion Post 169.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Kalusche; parents, William and Nina Kalusche; two brothers, Louis Kalusche, Hilton Kalusche; and sister, Katherine Frizell.
Survivors include his four children and their spouses, Marguerite and Kevin Peck of Tempe, AZ, Ralph Kalusche, Jr. of Wichita Falls, Nina and Everett Wilson of Roscoe, TX, Mary and Sam Hancock of Canadian, TX; eleven grandchildren; and two beloved nephews, Hilton Kalusche, Jr. and Mike Kalusche.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, January 8, 2008, at Hampton Vaughan Funeral Home.
