    • Obituary:
      Grigsby.
      W. H. Grigsby died at his home in Blandinsville at 10:35 Sunday morning of cancer of the face, aged 85 years. The funeral services were held at the Baptist church at Blandinsville at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, interment in the cemetery of that place.
      Deceased was born in Kentucky and came to this state in 1830, locating in the vicinity of Blandinsville. This county was then just newly settled, there being ony about three so-called settlements in the county at that time, and he has seen it grow to its present prosperous condition. He has been engaged in farming, the milling and banking business but retired from active work some years ago. His first wife's maiden name was Seybold, she dying some thirty-five years ago and he remarried, his second wife being Myra Bushnell, who survives him.
      He leaves four children -- James H., John E., Mrs Nancy Gordon and Mrs. Mary L. Grigsby, wife of Dr. W. E. Grigsby. He is survived by twenty-five grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren.
