OBITUARY: Sacto. Bee 12 Aug 1957, pg. D4 **** C. O. Coffman **** Services will be held at 11 AM Wednesday in the Andrews & Greilich Funeral Home for Cecil O. Coffman, 58, who operated a well drilling firm in Woodland, Yolo County, before World War II. *** Coffman died Saturday in a veterans hospital in Oakland. He was a chief petty officer in the navy during the war. *** Born in Willows, Glenn County, he was the son of the late Alfred R., and Dauney Adeline Triplett Coffman. He was reared in Fairfield, Solano County, where his father was postmaster for years. *** Coffman was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge in Woodland and Sacramento Scottish Rite Bodies. *** He leaves his wife, Helen; a daughter, Mrs. Dauney Craddock of San Diego; a grandson Steven Lee Craddock; and sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Taffinder of Sausalito, Marin County, and Mrs. Edith Wheeler of Martinez, Contra Costa County.
