  	"Mrs. Wade Gordon.  Virginia Lee Lindsey was born in Florence, Alabama, November 19, 1868 and departed this life December 17, 1926 age 58 years and 28 days.  She was united in marriage to Wade Gordon, December 25, 1887, and to this union were born eleven children.  She is survived by her husband, Wade Gordon, and ten children:  Ossie, Clyde, Roy, Jim, Robert, Lillian, Joel, Otto, Curtis and Dee, the eldest child, Gracie, having preceded her mother in death.  She also leaves to mourn her sixteen grandchildren, a sister Janie Fowler of Sadler, Texas, and brothers Lawson Lindsey of Haggerman, Texas and George Lindsey of Eldorado, Oklahoma, besides a host of friends and acquaintances.     Mrs. Gordon was united with the Baptist church at the early age of thirteen.  She was a faithful wife, devoted mother and loving friend, giving freely of her time and strength for the joy and comfort for others. Funeral services were conducted at the Nabisco cemetery sixteen miles south of Liberal Monday afternoon by Rev. J. N. Gibble and interment was made there."
