- Obituary:
Mrs. Lucille Ester Cloud, 33-year-old resident of 123 South Third street, died at St. Elizabeth Hospital at 6 o'clock this morning of heart trouble. She had been ill since Sunday.
Mrs. Cloud was born in Centralia. February 16, 1901, a daughter of William and Emma Davis, nee Hamann. She was married to Raymond (Rip) Cloud, a former deputy sheriff, at Waterloo, Oct 15, 1919. The couple had no children.
Besides her husband the deceased is survived by her mother, Mrs. Emma Davis of 1213 West Main street; a brother, Emmet Davis of 1000 Freeburg avenue; three sisters, Mrs. Vincent Blenke, of Maplewood, Mo.; Mrs. Irene Kiefer, of Sylvia street, Belleville, and Mrs. Helen Meyer of 1624 West Main street, Belleville.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon from the home of Mrs. Emma Davis, 1213 West Main street, to Walnut Hill Cemetery. Rev. H. J. Cluver of St. George's Episcopal Church, will conduct the services. Renner-Schneider will be in charge.
