- Obituary:
Lois M. Hite, of Levittown, passed away on April 15, 2008, with her family by her side.
She was born in Chester Springs, the daughter of Louis and Ella Wagoner. She moved to Levittown with her husband in 1957 and worked for Medical Arts for 30 years. She also taught Sunday School for 50 years at Emilie United Methodist Church.
Lois was the beloved wife of David W. Hite, to whom she was married for 46 years. She is survived by her son Richard L. Hite and his wife Debbie, as well as her daughter Donna L. Riss. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Danielle Riss and is survived by her grandchildren Jessica Hite and Alison Hite, along with her step-granddaughter Jessica Reiss. She is also survived by her brother Robert Wagoner and his wife Gloria. She also leaves behind what she said were the best neighbors that anyone could have.
Relatives and friends are invited on Friday, 6:00 - 8:30 p.m., at Beck-Givnish of Levittown, 7400 New Falls Rd., and on Saturday for a 10:00 a.m. service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Emilie United Methodist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Lois to Emilie U.M.C. Cemetery Fund, 7300 New Falls Rd., Levittown, Pa. 19055.
