- Obituary:
Funeral services for Mrs. Jennie V. Doyle were at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2011 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale, Reverend Charles Robinson officiatied. Interment followed in Oakhill Cemetery.
Mrs. Doyle, 77, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Sunday, February 13, 2011 in Meadow View Nursing Home, Minden.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Wilson Doyle; her parents, Lonzy and Marilla Willis; one brother, Wilford Willis; three sisters, Eunice Willis Thigpen, Emmie Willis Johnson and Nellie Willis Chamberlain; one daughter-in-law, Christina J. Skaalarud and one grandson, Todd Doyle. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include three sons Jerome Doyle of Shakopee, Minnesota, Jeffrey L. Doyle of Oakdale and Woodrow W. Doyle, Jr. and his wife, Mary Ann of Lufkin, Texas; two brothers, Kirby Willis and Romelzy Willis, both of Oakdale; three grandchildren, Jerome Doyle, Jr., Jennie Lynn Doyle and Greg Doyle and three great grandchildren, Jade Doyle, Brandon Doyle and William Doyle.
Services were under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
