On the death of Emperor Louis II, Charles invaded Italy in 875, was crowned Emperor Charles in 875. And became King of Italy. During his reign Frace was ravaged by the Normans, the towns of Bordeau, Rouen, Orleans, and part of Paris were sacked. He died in 877.
