- Obituary:
KINGSPORT - Madeline Cloud, 82, went to be with the Lord Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2002.
Mrs. Cloud was born in Scott County, Va., and was a resident of Kingsport and West Carter's Valley most of her life. She was a member of Greenvale Baptist Church and was a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly L. Cloud; father and mother, William Henry Bellamy and Monnie Bell Williams Bellamy; and a brother, Raymond Bellamy.
Surviving are her son, R. Douglas "Doug" Cloud; granddaughter, Chemene Thelen and husband Brad of Erwin, Chellie Buksbazen and husband Paul of Schenectady, N.Y.; great-grandchildren, Zachary Thelen, Ty Thelen, Rachel Buksbazen, Talia Buksbazen, Jaden Buksbazen; sisters, Mrs. Thomas (Audrey) Puckett of Kingsport, Mrs. Beulah Waddell of Kingsport and Marjorie Gillentine of Memphis; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Oak Hill Funeral Home.
Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Tony Gonzalez and the Rev. Lonnie Wooten officiating.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery. Family and friends will meet at the cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Carroll Jenkins, Dr. Steve Jones, Rev. Bob Cloud, Douglas Benton, Val Monroe and Scott Carmack.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greenvale Baptist Church, 6909 Carter's Valley Road, Church Hill, Tenn. 37642 in memory of Mrs. Cloud.
