PALLONE, DOMINIC - Dominic Pallone died on June 27, 1999 at the New York United Hospital. He was 82 years old. He was born on March 1, 1917 in Mamaroneck to Frank and Teresina Pallone. He attended the Mamaroneck Public Schools. A veteran of World War II, Dominic was a member of the G. I. Civic and Vittorio societies. He had worked as a ticket agent for the New Haven Rail Road. In addition, Dominic had owned his own landscaping business. On August 25, 1945, he married Maria Stingone at Saint Vito's Church. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Anthony and Frank Pallone, a daughter, Donna Messina; a sister, Loretta Scata, and grandchildren, Joseph and Michael Messina, Kevin Pallone, and Tara, and Matthew Kreye. He is predeceased by his siblings, Thomas Pallone, Ann Loiaconi, and Mary DiBenedetto, and a grandson, Brian Pallone. Visitation will be today, Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
